Follow Our Steps Through Europe Summer 2025

Hopefully this will be an easy way for you to follow our travels and experience a little of what we are experiencing! By the way, I couldn't have found a more perfect look for this blog - notice the Thai and Lao textiles in the photos above! 

Our travels this year will be to England, Ireland and Italy. There is a real advantage being married to a European! Lots of family and friends to visit with along the way. Ireland will be a first for both of us. 

Once again we will be hitting the English highways in Robert's antique car which is sitting in a garage in Weybridge, England. We hope it will be as reliable and trustworthy as on our last trip. Traveling in this old car reminds us of two Italians who did the same thing and turned it into a travel show in Italy. Maybe that's our future.

After a few days to adjust to jetlag in Weybridge our first stop is Hereford in Western England where we stop at Robert's cousin's for a few days. After that it's off to Ireland (by ferry) where we will start in the South at another cousin's place in County Cork. We have about 2.5 weeks in Ireland and hope to see a lot of the country - mostly South Ireland. We are lucky to have a place to stay a couple of hours west of Dublin in another cousin's cottage. From there we will do a lot of day trips to various places. We are planning to spend most of our time in small towns and soaking up the Irish culture. We will do our best to post pictures and impressions along the way.
