Fall in England

We’ve returned to England to oversee some renovations to Robert’s apartment and to experience the change of seasons. This also means a significant drop in temperature - it’s 30 degrees colder here and sometimes 40 degrees. So we’ve gone from 85 to 55 or 45 degrees. It’s hard to believe the temperatures can be so different.  In addition, it is chestnut season so everywhere we go we’re bombarded by nuts.  Here is Robert with his renovation artwork- made of recycled masking tape for painting walls and doors. Weybridge has the river Way running through it which is a major feature of the town. News to me. I’ve been here many times and we never walked along the river. It is very calming with a variety of activities and swans. Still, how did the name of the town become Weybridge and not Waybridge?
