Appia Antica Tid Bits

I’ve taken so many photos while we have been here. In this and the previous post the photos are a higher resolution so they should be better quality. I hope you will still be able to view them ok.

This is a mixture of some photo odds and ends from walks down the Appia which I’ve done almost every day in the last week.

The people who built this house took advantage of the existing monument and built right into it.  That must have been before they created laws against damaging antiquity.

One afternoon this ballerina was being photographed so I got in on the action and stole a few photos.
