Taking it Easy with Family

After 4 weeks of travel, we are glad to stop for a bit and just hang out with Martin and family as well as get some laundry done.  Martin is an architect and Thom owns and manages a Thai restaurant.

It's been rainy on and off so England is finally getting its much needed rain. The kids are still on summer break and enjoying games inside. Lotti, the dog is thrilled to have everyone home and getting lots of attention.

Leo has decided to be a musician when he grows up so he is taking advantage of getting some lessons from his much admired uncle, Robert. The little guy is super smart and has even taught Robert a thing or two.

The older brother, Luca, is studying hard this summer for college entrance exams and is aiming for Oxford to study physics. Another exceptionally smart guy.

We were treated to a home made dim sum lunch with the family thanks to the Thai half, Martin’s wife Thom and sister Tuoi. And in the evening a Thai Hot Pot dinner. Aren’t we lucky? Lotti is hoping to get in on the action.

Saturday we are finally visiting cousin John on his barge.  John has a reputation as the great entertainer and storyteller in pubs and at home - everywhere actually, so it should be a fun-filled day. We’re hoping for sunshine or at least no rain.
